One week from right now I will be in South Bend! How about you? What day do you arrive? I swear the next week is going to be one of the slowest yet fastest weeks of the year. Make sure you have taken a moment to review the #TeamTexas AYOP 2018 Twirler Activities Guide as you get prepared to ensure you don't miss any of the fun photo ops, and don't forget to wear your Team Texas shirt on Friday. Let's show everyone at Notre Dame that Texas knows how to support each other in the big kind of way that only Texas can!
Now, let's continue our journey to meet the 82 twirlers from Texas attending AYOP this year. Today's group is tied for the second largest group from Texas attending AYOP sending nine twirlers to South Bend... and ALL NINE will be competing in their respective national pageants! WOW!
Coached by Patti Mickey and Kayli Mickey-Macintosh (and we can't forget all Mr. Mickey does for the girls as well), the Mickey's Majorettes have had a phenomenal year, and we know they will keep that ball rolling well into next week! Good luck to all nine twirlers in their pageants and other events. Go Mickey's Majorettes!
