2026 Southwest Regional Pageant Winners - Advanced Pageant

 Hello Texas Twirl Fans! 

With all the excitement of graduations and the school year starting to wrap up, let's finish our Regional Winners series by recognizing our Advanced Pageant title holders! Congrats to all of these talented twirlers on their success at Regionals. 

Today we will be recognizing the 2026 Southwest Regional Miss Majorettes!



College Miss Majorette of the Southwest 
Anna Lilie
Texas Tech University

Anna currently lives in Lubbock, Texas, (by way of Austin/Liberty Hill) where she is the Feature Twirler at Texas Tech University. She is a member of Twirl ATX where she coached by Whitney Coons as well as Ashley Wood, with additional support from Bethany Tolley. Her favorite memory from Regionals was seeing all of her twirling friends and teammates since she hadn't seen them since August! This summer at AYOP she is most looking forward to seeing her friends from all over the nation and participating in College Night!



Senior Miss Majorette of the Southwest
Gracie Williams

Gracie currently lives in Austin, Texas, (by way of Pendleton, South Carolina), where she is the Feature Twirler at the University of Texas. She is a member of the Carolina Superstars and is coached by Hazel Cartee and Ansley Minor, with additional support from Whitney Coons. Her favorite moment from Regionals was competing her downfield and "hearing all the sweet girls cheering me on!" This summer at AYOP she is most looking forward to seeing her friends from all over the country, and competing as the University of Texas Feature Twirler! 



Junior Miss Majorette of the Southwest
Alexa Knotts

Alexa is from Cibolo, Texas, where she is the first ever Feature Twirler at St. John Paul 2 Catholic High School. She is a member of the Twirling Sweet Sensations where she is coached by Michele Pangrac. Her favorite memory from Regionals was spending time practicing and preparing for my events with my friends. "It was such a safe space where we could have fun, twirl together, and de-stress before stepping onto the floor to perform our routines. We would pause to cheer each other on and watch one another perform, and it meant so much knowing my friends were there to encourage and support me through every event." This summer at AYOP, she is most looking forward to visiting the Grotto and the Cathedral. visiting the Grotto and the Cathedral. "It’s something I look forward to every year, as it’s such a special place where I can offer my performances up to God and find peace and relaxation after a busy and sometimes stressful week of competition. I’m also especially excited that one of my best friends will be competing a Blue Curtain solo for the first time, and that we’ll get to share that experience and compete together."

Evelyn Winter

Evelyn is from Fort Worth, Texas. She is coached by Vicki Ray with the Vick's Chicks, as well as Tori Mays Elyea, and is a member of the Cowtown Strutters. Her favorite memory from Regionals was getting to see her twirling bestie, Payge, and making up a silly duet together while waiting for awards. This summer at AYOP, she is most looking forward to "definitely the pretzels and seeing my friends from all over the US!"

Caroline Gee

Caroline Gee is from Jacksonville, Texas. She is a member of the Mickey's Majorettes where she is coached by Kayli Mickey-McIntosh and Patti Mickey. Her favorite memory from Regionals was making brownies with Mr. & Mrs. Mickey. This summer at AYOP, she is most looking forward to forward to performing in front of the blue curtain, eating pretzels, and spending time with her friends!

2026 Southwest Regional Pageant Winners - Intermediate Pageant

 Hello Texas Twirl Fans! 

Can you believe we are already halfway through May? We are less than two weeks away from the UIL Texas State Solo & Ensemble Twirling competition and less than a month away State! Before this season continues to fly by, it is time to recognize our next round of Pageant winners! 

To celebrate our new Regional Pageant title holders, over the next few weeks, we will be recognizing them here on the blog. Congrats to all of these talented twirlers on their success at Regionals. 

Today we will be recognizing the 2026 Southwest Regional Intermediate Pageant Winners!




Senior Intermediate Pageant Winner 
Emma Regalado

Emma is from Austin, Texas, where she is the Feature Twirler for Westlake High School. She is a member of Twirl ATX where she is coached by Ashley Wood, as well as Whitney Coons & Jassandra Sadler. Her favorite memory from Regionals was getting to help coach the younger Twirl ATX girls and watch them perform their team routine. "I also loved my crowning moment because it was truly a dream come true!" For AYOP this summer, she is looking forward to spending time with all of her teammates during all of the Twirl ATX nationals traditions, "and of course AYOP pretzels!"



Junior Intermediate Pageant Winner 
Ava Gourley

Ava is from San Antonio, Texas, where she is the Feature Twirler for Ronald Reagan High School. She is a member of the Twirling Sweet Sensations and is coached by Michele Pangrac. Her favorite memory from Regionals was performing and winning the Advanced Junior Southwest Regional X-strut title, as well as spending time with her coach and all her Sweet Sensations teammates. This summer she is especially looking forward to AYOP since it will be her first time at Nationals as an advanced twirler and is hoping to qualify for a Blue Curtain Solo at State!



Pre-Teen Intermediate Pageant Winner 
Addyson Mead

Addyson is from Tomball, TX, where she is the Feature Twirler at Hofius Intermediate School. She is coached by Sue Young of the Texas Twirlers. Her favorite memory from Regionals was getting to explore Palo Duro Canyon and eat at the Big Texan with her twirling family. This summer at AYOP, she is looking forward to getting to represent Texas and to see all of her twirling friends from across the states. 



Juvenile Intermediate Pageant Winner 
Kaitlyn Kondo 

Kaitlyn is from Austin, Texas. She is a member of Twirl ATX where she is coached by Ashley Wood, as well as Whitney Coons & Jassandra Sadler. Her favorite memory from Regionals was getting to paint rocks with her team at the team dinner. This summer at AYOP she is excited to see everyone and hopefully put her best routines on the floor.

2026 Southwest Regional Pageant Winners - Beginner Pageant

Hello Texas Twirl Fans! 

With only 2 days until The Twirlies, and only 3 days until the 2026 Texas State Championship entry deadline (not signed up? Visit nbtatexasstatecentx.com to get registered!), it is time to continue meeting our Southwest Regional pageant winners.

Today we will be recognizing the 2026 Southwest Regional Beginner Pageant Winners!




Senior Beginner Pageant Winner 
Hope Salas
 
Hope is from Henderson, TX, where she is on the twirling line at Henderson High School. She is a member Precision Twirl where she is coached by Paige Keitt, with additional support from Kayli Mickey-McIntosh and Jaidyn Poole. Her favorite memory from Regionals was getting to celebrate her and her teammates' accomplishments during awards. This summer she is excited to go to Nationals and compete with all of the amazing twirlers!



Junior Beginner Pageant Winner  
Jessica Franklin
  
Jessica is from New Braunfels, TX, and is a freshman at Canyon High School. She is a member of the Twirling Sweet Sensations where she is coached by Michele Pangrac. Her favorite memory from regionals is when she had only 3 drops in her solo and then sitting with her teammates to celebrate awards together. She is looking forward to competing at AYOP for the first time and spending time with her teammates doing the TSS traditions like spaghetti meal and ice cream social nights! 



Pre-Teen Beginner Pageant Winner 
Hazel Hull
 
Hazel is from Liberty Hill, TX. She is a member of Twirl ATX, where she is coached by Whitney Coons as well as Ashley Wood & Jassandra Saddler. Her favorite memory from Regionals was hanging out with her friends and teammates in between routines. This summer Hazel is looking forward to experiencing her first AYOP!



Juvenile Beginner Pageant Winner 
Lillian Gledhill
 
Lillian is from Selma, TX. She is a member of the Twirling Sweet Sensations where she is coached by Michele Pangrac. Her favorite moments from regionals weekend were winning her first Regionals pageant and having fun playing games with her TSS teammates at the hotel. This summer Lillian is most excited to attend AYOP for the very first time and watching and competing with girls from all over the United States.

Clara Coons

Clara is from Austin, TX where she is a member of the Twirl ATX Sunbeams. She is coached by Tori Mays Elyea and Lynn Dell Harrell, and also loves working with the coaches at Twirl ATX. Her favorite memories from Regionals were seeing her friends, doing her modeling, and the award ceremony. This summer at AYOP Clara is "excited to do my solo that I’ve been practicing and awards!”

2026 Southwest Regional Pageant Winners - Basic Skills

 Hello Texas Twirl Fans! 

Can you believe it has been three weeks since the 2026 Southwest Regional Championship? We all had an amazing time, and it was a great contest! Shout out to Contest Directors Gretta Johnson & Brittany Ashcraft for making it all happen, and we are so excited for all of our regional winners!

Senior Basic Skills Pageant Winner
Morgan Blau

Morgan is from Odessa, TX, where she is a member of the Odessa Twirl Elite and is coached by Pam Brewer and Naticia Dodson. Her favorite memory from Regionals was hearing her name announced in first place. "It was a surreal moment I'll never forget!" 



Junior Basic Skills Pageant Winner 
Christina Paterson

Christina is from Dallas, TX, where she is a Feature Twirler at Highland Park high School She is a member of Texas Touch of Class and is coached by Sheila Payne Rigelsky. Her favorite memory from Regionals was when she realized that TTOC had the top 3 spots in Junior Basic Skills Pageant. This summer Christina will be attending Nationals for the first time, and she can’t wait to watch her teammate Breckyn Steele perform in the Big Show!



Pre-Teen Basic Skills Pageant Winner 
Kallette Miller

Kallette is from Dallas, TX, where she is a member of Texas Touch of Class and is coached by Kassie Steele and Sheila Payne Rigelsky. Her favorite memory from Regionals was twirling with her best friends and having a fun dinner with her whole team. She also enjoyed watching x-struts and new show twirl routines!



Juvenile Basic Skills Pageant Winner 
Hannah Oldman

Hannah is from Carrier, OK, where she is coached by Kim Akers of the Oklahoma Twirling Academy. Her favorite memory from Regionals was when she had a no drop on her two-baton. This summer she is looking forward to competing at Nationals for the first time, and hopefully even placing top 10 in an event!



Little Miss Basic Skills Pageant Winner 
Cohyn Shoemaker

Cohyn, also known as Coco, is from Cypress, Texas, where she is coached by Kelley McCormick of Forever Twirl Texas. According to Coco, the best thing that happened at Regionals was "catching my thumb flip for the first time ever! I even learned it right before. But my absolute favorite memory was meeting my new friend Clara. She was really nice to me!"
