#TeamTexas AYOP 2017 - Alamo City Strutters

Hello Texas Twirl Fans!

12 days until AYOP! So yesterday's post we announced that 170 Team Texas t-shirts were ordered. Well today we get to announce that the Team Texas shirts are in the mail and on their way to your coaches. YAY! When you get your shirts, we would love to see some social media posts. Use the hastag #TeamTexas and make sure to tag the blog on both Facebook.com/twirlingiscatchingtx and Instagram (@twirlingiscatchingtx). Lets get to some real excitement building around the awesome 68 Team Texas Twirlers competing next week!

Also as a side note, Pat has several extra shirts for those twirlers or twirl parents that didn't order on the first go round. Currently Pat has 1 Youth Small, 4 Youth Medium, 2 Adult Medium, 1 Adult Large, and 2 Adult XL shirts. Pat cam bring the shirt to AYOP and give them to you that Monday. If you are interested in claiming one of these shirts, please email pmontgomery877@yahoo.com.

Talking about the Team Texas shirts, we want to give a BIG shout out to the coach of the team featured in today's blog post. Pat Montgomery, coach of the Alamo City Strutters, is the force behind the design and getting the orders done for these shirts. We appreciate Pat making this happen. When you see her at AYOP make sure to give her a hug or a high five and tell her thank you!

We also appreciate what a great job Pat Montgomery has done with keeping baton twirling going in the San Antonio area. This year, for AYOP, the Alamo City Strutters will be sending nine twirlers, making them the largest group from Texas attending Nationals. The Alamo City Strutters team includes two Collegiate twirlers, five High School Twirlers, and two grade school aged twirlers, ranging from the Novice to Advanced division. While the Strutters will be competing in individual events, they will also be sending their award winning Senior Dance Twirl Team, Invictus. We know Invictus and all of the Strutters will do a great job representing Texas!
