Hello Texas Twirl Fans!
Can you believe it has almost been three weeks since the 2025 Southwest Regional Championship? We all had an amazing time, and it was a great contest! Shout out to Contest Director Vicki Ray for making it all happen, and we are so excited for all of our regional winners!
To celebrate our new Regional Pageant title holders, over the next few weeks, we will be recognizing them here on the blog. Congrats to all of these talented twirlers on their success at Regionals.
Today we will be recognizing the 2025 Southwest Regional Basic Skills Pageant Winners!
Senior Basic Skills Pageant Winner
Natalie Donnell
Natalie is from Bullard, TX, where she is on the Bullard High School Twirling Line. She is a member of Twirl Revolutions and is coached by Jeri Coke. Her favorite memory from Regionals was being awarded her sash and plaque. She is also excited for the rest of the season! She enjoys traveling for twirl events and learning new and more difficult tricks.
Junior Basic Skills Pageant Winner
Kelsie Cole
Kelsie is from Arp, TX, where she is an Arp High School Majorette. She is a member of Precision Twirl and is coached by Paige Keitt. Her favorite memory from Regionals was sitting with her friends during the awards ceremony and celebrating everyone’s wins.
Pre-Teen Basic Skills Pageant Winner
Brynn Chapman
Brynn is from Magnolia, TX, where she attends Bear Branch Intermediate, and is hoping to twirl there next year. She is a member of the Texas Twirlers Twirling Team and is coached by Sue Young. Her favorite memory from Regionals was having fun with all her teammates and meeting new twirlers. She is inspired by her coach for always giving her encouragement and helping her learn new, harder tricks. She hopes to one day attend nationals and represent Texas!
Juvenile Basic Skills Pageant Winner
Cabela Brewer
Cabela is from Garrison, TX, where she is a 4th grader at Garrison Elementary. She is a member of Precision Twirl and is coached by Paige Keitt. Her favorite memory from Regionals was seeing "all the famous twirlers in person and meeting them. When they called my name as the winner, I felt famous too!"
