Hello Texas Twirl Fans!
It is that exciting time of year where twirlers are auditioning for twirling spots for the Fall. This blog hopes to help spread the excitement by announcing the selections for the lovely twirlers we will see on the field very soon in Texas and representing out of State. If you have an announcement for new twirler selections for 2023-24, please email texastwirlcontact@gmail.com so that we can help spread the word!Today we are announcing the newest North Carolina State University Feature Twirler!
North Carolina State University, also known as NC State, is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. NC State is the home of the Wolfpack, and as of this coming Fall, is the new home of Texas Twirler, Amber Sorenson!
Amber is from Round Rock, Texas, where she is a member of Twirl ATX, and is coached by Ashley Wood as well as Whitney Coons and Kaylee Williams. Amber has been a Feature Twirler for Stony Point High School for the last four years and is the Twirling 2 Fight Cancer High School Ambassador. She also does team with Forte out of Georgia and will be performing with them in England at the World Championship this August.
After a visit to Raleigh and performing in the NC State Twirler Day, Amber fell in love with the campus, the people, and the Wolfpack Twirling program. Last month when they held auditions, it was truly a dream come true when they invited Amber to be the newest member of the Pack Twirlers. Amber is so excited to join returning twirlers Claudia Swauger, Robbie Leske, and Kira Greer in Carter-Finley Stadium this Fall!
Congrats Amber! We are so excited to see you living out your dreams GO PACK!
