2021 Fall Twirler Announcements - San Diego State University

 Hello Texas Twirl Fans!

It is that exciting time of year where twirlers are auditioning for twirling spots for the Fall. This blog hopes to help spread the excitement by announcing the selections for the lovely twirlers we will see on the field very soon in Texas, and representing out of State. If you have an announcement for new twirler selections for 2021-22, please email texastwirlcontact@gmail.com so that we can help spread the word!

Today we are announcing the 2021-22 San Diego State University Feature Twirler!

San Diego State University, also known as SDSU, is located in San Diego, California, and is the home of the Fighting Aztecs. Lead by Coach, and Former College Miss Majorette of America, Catherine Watters, SDSU has been building their reputation as a great place for college twirlers.

This coming fall,  SDSU will be Featuring Texas Twirler, Kaylynn Lambert!

Kaylynn lives in The Woodlands, TX, where she is the Feature Twirler at The Woodlands High School, where she will be graduating Cum Laude this May. She is also the 2021 Southwest Regional Senior Solo & X-Strut Champion. Kaylynn is coached by Patti Mickey & Kayli Mickey-McIntosh from the Mickey's Majorettes, and has been previously coached by Nancy Eisenhauer, Kim Berger, & Keely Davis from the Stingerettes. At SDSU she will be majoring in Psychology.

How does this Texas Girl feel about being an Aztec? "I am so honored to have been selected as the new SDSU Feature Twirler! I am looking forward so much to meeting interesting people who are super involved in the school and experiencing the energy and spirit of the Aztec fans at the first home game this fall! I am ready to represent San Diego State University at events across the nation as their next Feature Twirler!"

We all want to wish a huge congrats to Kaylynn as she represents Texas in San Diego! Make sure to follow her adventures by checking out @sdsu_twirlers on Instagram. Go Aztecs!
