2025 Fall Twirler Announcements - Texas State University

Hello Texas Twirl Fans!

It is that exciting time of year where twirlers are auditioning for twirling spots for the Fall. This blog hopes to help spread the excitement by announcing the selections for the lovely twirlers we will see on the field very soon in Texas or representing out of State. If you have an announcement for new twirler selections for 2025-26, please email texastwirlcontact@gmail.com so that we can help spread the word!

Today's we announce the new 2025-2026 Texas State University Feature Twirlers!

Texas State University, located in San Marcos, TX, is the home of the "Pride of the Hill Country" - the Bobcat Marching Band. Annually, the BMB selects twirlers to serve in their feature positions. Auditions were held this spring, and three twirlers were selected to represent Texas State for Fall 2025!

Returning to the Bobcat Marching Band for her senior season will be Hollyn Flemings-Stumpand new to the TXST Jim Wacker field will be incoming freshmen, Brooklyn Maxwell & Olivia Crisp!

Brooklyn Maxwell is and incoming freshman from Kilgore, Texas, where she was a majorette for all four years and served as Head Twirler her senior year. She is coached by Janice Jackson Seamands, and her most notable title was the 16-year-old National Show Twirl Champion.

We asked Brooklyn what brought her to Texas State, and she told us it was a mix of the campus and the band program. "I have seen multiple videos of the pregame and halftime performances of the Texas State BMB and I loved the band atmosphere I felt, and I loved the uniqueness of the band running out on the field and their unique moves in their drill. I also love the campus. It is just the right size, and it is absolutely gorgeous. Kaylee Williams, a former TX State feature twirler was a student of my coach a few years back and I loved watching her twirl. She talked to me about Texas State a few years ago and I loved getting to hear about her stories at Texas State and how much she loved it there! I am so excited to continue my twirling career at Texas State. I am so thankful and blessed that I was given this position and I can’t wait for all of the amazing memories I am going to make with Olivia and Hollyn. I cannot wait to twirl with them. Go Bobcats!"

Olivia Crisp is and incoming freshman from New Braunfels, Texas, where she was the Feature Twirler at Canyon Lake High School. She is a member of the Twirling Sweet Sensations where she is coached by Michele Pangrac, and this year she had the honor winning the Senior Beginner Southwest Regional Pageant.

We asked Olivia what brought her to Texas State, and she said attending a game her Junior year was the moment she knew it would be a great home away from home. "I wanted to twirl at Texas state because I loved the campus and the community. I had the opportunity to see a TXST football game my junior year of high school and I felt like I could really picture myself on that field, ultimately leading to my determination to get this role as feature twirler!"

Returning Feature Twirler, Hollyn Fleming-Stump, is from Melissa, Texas, and is excited for her senior season!

We look forward to seeing these three talented young ladies as they lead the Pride of the Hill Country and are featured at halftime in the Bobcat Stadium. Congrats to Holly, Brooklyn, and Olivia! Eat 'Em Up Cats!
