It is that exciting time of year where twirlers are auditioning for twirling spots for the Fall. This blog hopes to help spread the excitement by announcing the selections for the lovely twirlers we will see on the field very soon in Texas and representing out of State. Today we announce the 2022-23 University of Houston Feature Twirlers!
The U of H Feature Twirlers, led by Coach Kayli Mickey-McIntosh, are "an elite Team of Baton Twirling Soloists who are integral contributors to the entertainment value of the Spirit of Houston Marching Band".
This year U of H is welcoming one new twirler and one returning twirler to the field...
Congrats to Ainsley McDonald and Alexis Tanner!
Alexis is from Corpus Christi, TX. She just graduated from UTSA, where she was a four-year Feature Twirler, and will be pursuing her graduate degree at UH.
So excited to see Ainsley & Alexis together! We know you will make the scarlet and silver look good!
