2018 Fall Twirler Announcements - Lamar University

Hello Texas Twirl Fans!

It is that exciting time of year where twirlers are auditioning for twirling spots for the Fall. This blog hopes to help spread the excitement by announcing the selections for the lovely twirlers we will see on the field very soon. The Lamar University Cardinalette Twirling line is a young line that only returned to the field less than ten years ago with the return of football and a marching band to Lamar University. In 2017 the line received a new name, a new coach, and a new look! This years tryouts were held March 24th and April 7th.

The 2018-2019 returning Cardinalettes are Co-Head Kyndel Spoonemore, Co-Head Lauren Cole, Morgan Lewallen, Kaitlyn Marley, Emily Sterling & Tiffany Bassett. We would like to welcome our new twirlers: Kerstyn Lemoine, Catarina Tran & Shakira Willis.

This year the Cardinalettes will be performing exhibition shows with The Showcase of Southeast Texas Band at the 6A area F marching contest, and after finals at the BOA Super Regional in San Antonio!
