Team Texas at Twirl Mania Part 1 - Texas Touch of Class

Hello Texas Twirl Fans!

Sorry for the delay in posts. A small little event of some sort happened last weekend! (ha!). We hope everyone has recovered from Regionals. What an amazing contest! Can we all give a big high five to Directors Patti Mickey & Michele Pangrac for getting over 200 twirlers through all those events and out the door when it was still light outside? I did not think it could be done, but leave it to those two awesome ladies to pull it off. Thanks for a great contest Patti & Michele!

We also have several entry deadlines coming up and more contests on the horizon, but in the meantime, we wanted to take a couple posts to talk about Texas Twirlers traveling around the country to represent our State.

The Annual Twirl Mania International Competition was held over President's Day Weekend in mid-February. Texas had some fantastic representation at this event. After seeing some of their wonderful pictures posted on social media, we knew it was blog post time! As a note, there were too many awesome Texas twirlers at Twirl Mania to fit them all in one post, so this feature will be a multiple part post with the next round of twirlers being posted later this month.

Today we get to meet the members of Texas Touch Of Class that attended. This group out of Dallas, lead by mother/daughter team Shirley Payne and Sheila Payne Rigelsky, brought four young ladies to the event this year... K.K. Tunnell, Jenna Bowen, Payton Jones, and Seanna Riglesky!

K.K. Tunnell
K.K., the reigning 2017 Junior Beginner National Pageant Winner, now competes in the Intermediate Senior division. She is most proud of placing third in the Intermediate Senior Miss Twirl Mania Pageant! It was a great first showing in her new division!
