2024 Texas State Pageant Winners - Intermediate Pageant

Hello Texas Twirl Fans!

Can you believe it has already been a month since the 2024 Competition Season wrapped up with the National Baton Twirling Championship! Our Texas Twirlers did an amazing job in South Bend, and we want to make sure before football season kicks off and our focus moves to those stadium lights, that we take a moment to celebrate our State Pageant Winners.

To celebrate our Texas State Pageant title holders, over the next week, we will be recognizing them here on the blog. Congrats to all of these talented twirlers on their success at State! Go #TeamTexas!

Today we will be recognizing the 2024 Texas State Intermediate Pageant Winners!

Senior Intermediate Pageant Winner

Keely Ann Knesek

Keely lives in the country between Gonzales, TX, and Shiner, TX, and is the Feature Twirler at Shiner High School. Her favorite memory from State was the moment she walked off the floor after her pageant strut feeling like it was the best strut she had ever done. At Nationals, Keely enjoyed getting to watch College Night because she hopes to be competing in it next year. She also loved getting to represent Texas in the Intermediate Senior pageant.

Junior Intermediate Pageant Winner

Evelyn Henry

Evelyn is from Dallas, Texas, where she is a Feature Twirler for Woodrow Wilson High School. She is a member of the Texas Touch of Class and is coached by Sheila Payne Rigelsky. Her favorite memory from State was performing a trio for the first time with two of her best friends, and the surprise of winning their division afterward. At Nationals, Evelyn enjoyed experiencing Nationals with her friends as well as meeting new twirling friends from around the country.

Pre-Teen Intermediate Pageant Winner

Payge Carroll

Payge lived in San Antonio, TX, but this summer after State her family moved to Arizona. She is a member of the Legends and is coached by Liane Aramaki. Her favorite memories from State were performing her pageant solo and only having one drop, and then being able to compete in the advanced finals for the first time the next day. At Nationals, Payge enjoyed competing in pageant and getting to see all of her twirling friends.

Juvenile Intermediate Pageant Winner

Elliana Carter

Elliana is from Converse, Texas. She is a member of the Twirling Sweet Sensations where she is coached by Michele Pangrac. Her favorite memory from State was seeing all her friends winning and doing amazing things. At Nationals, Elliana enjoyed being there with her friends and making several new friends along the way.
