2020 Fall Twirler Announcements - Baylor University

Hello Texas Twirl Fans!

It is that exciting time of year where twirlers are auditioning for twirling spots for the Fall. This blog hopes to help spread the excitement by announcing the selections for the lovely twirlers we will see on the field very soon in Texas, and representing out of State. If you have an announcement for new twirler selections for 2020-21, please email texastwirlcontact@gmail.com so that we can help spread the word!

Today we announce the selection of the 2020-21 Baylor University Golden Girl Feature Twirlers!

The Baylor Golden Girls, lead by Coordinator Lynn Dell Harrell, are coveted twirling spots in the twirling community, as these positions have a history of being held by some of the area's best. We are super excited to see that this Fall season will be no different! Returning this season will be Golden Girls Jillian Taylor & Paige Glass, and joining them at McLane Stadium will be newcomer, Mallory Remm!

Jillian Taylor, who was named as the Fall 2020 Twirler Captain, is originally from Tustin, California. She will be a Senior this Fall and is double majoring in corporate innovation and marketing. This will be her fourth season with Baylor, and she can't wait to make more unforgettable memories cheering on her Bears.

Paige Glass, who is a Texas girl from Gonzales. This Fall she will be a Senior, and she is studying biochemistry on the pre-med and honors tracks. This will be her fourth season with Baylor and she can't wait to cheer on the bears with thousands of her closest friends again.

Mallory Remm is the newest addition to the Golden Girls. Coming to Texas from Sussex, Wisconsin, She will be studying communication sciences and disorders. In Wisconsin she was the Feature Twirler for her High School, a member of the Revolutions Twirling Club, and was coached by Anna Spiers and Aryn Swann. When asked what brought her all the way down to Baylor, she told us "as soon as I stepped on Baylor's campus it felt like home! The campus traditions, welcoming community, Baylor spirit, and the amazing people I met along the way made Baylor stand out for me from other schools. I am so honored to represent Baylor University and I cannot wait to take the field as a Golden Girl!"

What an amazing group of twirlers to be together on the same field. Makes you want to break out your green and gold and yell "Sic Em Bears!" We want to give a big welcome to Mallory and a congrats to Paige and Jillian. We wish you all a wonderful football season!
