Hello Texas Twirl Fans!
To celebrate our new Regional title holders, over the next few weeks, we will be recognizing our Regional Winners here on the blog. Congrats to all of these talented twirlers on their success at Regionals. We will be cheering for all of you as you take on AYOP this summer!
Today we will be recognizing the 2023 Southwest Regional Beginner Pageant Winners!
Anniston Hill
Senior Beginner Pageant Winner
Anniston is from Enid, Oklahoma. She is coached by Kim Akers of the Enid Twirling Academy. Anniston's favorite memory from Regionals was playing Just Dance in the hotel room with her friends!
Emily Bartek
Junior Beginner Pageant Winner
Emily is from Goldthwaite, Texas, where she is a Feature Twirler for Goldthwaite High School. She is a member of Twirl ATX and is coached by Ashley Wood as well as Whitney Coons & Kaylee Williams. Her favorite memories from regionals were the moments she spent with her teammates, and this summer she is looking forward to competing and representing the Region in the AYOP pageant.
Corin Salamon
Pre-Teen Beginner Pageant Winner
Corin is from Rosenberg, Texas. She is a member of the Twirling Sweet Sensations and is coached by Michele Pangrac, Liane Aramaki Bradford, and Caroline Carothers-Reed. Spending time with her teammates was on the top of her favorite memories from regionals. "I live a few hours away from my coach and team, so spending the long weekend with everyone was extra special. After the competition, we celebrated a teammates birthday and everyone’s hard work by going out to dinner and then swimming at the hotel's pool. It was a fun way to end an exciting weekend!" This summer at AYOP she is looking forward to having the opportunity to represent the Region, meet twirlers from other states, and have fun doing all the AYOP things.
Paisley Anderson
Juvenile Beginner Pageant Winner
Paisley is from Corpus Christi, Texas. She is a member of the Texas Elite and is coached by Keely Davis. Her favorite memory from regionals was walking with all the girls in the parade before awards. This summer she is looking forward to attending AYOP and watching the twirlers "survive the blue curtain" as well as watching all the teams.
Claire Serfaty
Little Miss Beginner Pageant Winner
Claire is from Fort Worth, Texas. She is a member of the Cowtown Strutters and is coached by Lynn Winters. Claire's favorite moment from Regionals was being able to spend time with her twirling friends. This summer she is looking forward to competing at her first AYOP and catching her two spin!
