University of Texas "Twirler for a Day" Spring 2020

Hello Texas Twirl Fans!

Today we get to remind you of an amazing opportunity coming up later this month. The University of Texas is holding their first Spring Twirler for a Day where twirlers will get the chance to perform on the court at a University of Texas Basketball Game alongside Longhorn Feature Twirler, Caroline Carothers!

The best part? You still have time to sign up! This will be a fantastic experience for twirlers and we are excited to see such a major Texas University offer this amazing opportunity. Hook Em!

Join Caroline Carothers, the exceptional Feature Twirler with the Longhorn Band, on Saturday, February 22nd for the First Annual 'Twirler For a Day' event with the Texas Longhorns Women's Basketball team. Prior to the game, you'll learn a routine with Caroline in the Texas Basketball Practice Facility. *Parents or legal guardians must be present at all times with the child*. Participants will then perform with Caroline at halftime!

Registration is only $25.00 per twirler + $5 per accompanying game ticket
The registration deadline is Wednesday, February 12th, so make sure to get signed up ASAP! The registration fee includes a general admission ticket for the twirler, a $10 food voucher good for food and non-alcoholic beverages, plus a Texas Longhorns T-Shirt! Any accompanying parents, siblings, or friends must purchase an additional $5 ticket for entry in to the game.

What: University of Texas “Twirler for a Day”
When: Saturday, February 22, 2020. Check-In at 8:00 am. Game starts at Noon.
Where: Frank Erwin Center – 1701 Red River St, Austin, TX 78701
Why: See what it is like to perform at a Collegiate Basketball Game alongside the amazing Caroline Carothers! This event is open to twirlers of all ages, though parental supervision is required to participate.

Game Day Information for Twirlers

The game starts at Noon. All Twirlers wanting to participate in the performance need to be in the Frank Erwin Center by 8:00 am for check-in. There is no age limit to participate in this event, however, a parent must remain onsite and in supervision of their child during their entire time in the Erwin Center. The University of Texas at Austin and Texas Athletics will not take custodial responsibility of minors while participating in the “Twirler for a Day” event. Custodial responsibility will remain with parents or legal guardians.

  1. As claimed by Stanford Medical, It's indeed the one and ONLY reason women in this country live 10 years longer and weigh 19 KG lighter than us.

    (And realistically, it has NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret exercise and absolutely EVERYTHING about "how" they eat.)
